We are Peregrine, an Stem Racing team. We competed in the Entry Class in the 2024/25 season and are now competing in the 25/26 season in dev class. We won The future stars Award at the previous competetive event.
We are currently working on designing and building our mini F1 car. It will be make out of polystyrene foam in the most part, with some 3D printed elements added on. We will race it against other teams from other schools around the country, and it will be powered by a canister of compressed C02 in the back.
In February 2025, we went to the STEM Racing Entry Class competiion. This was the cullmination of all our hard work since Septermber 2024, and we all enjoyed watching our car race and presenting our information and journey to the judges. The competition entailed more than just the car. We had to make a Pit Display (which is a display board that sums up our team and shows off our work to judges and other teams) and the verbal presentation. With all the lessons we've learnt from this, we are more than ready to take on development class in 2026!
